Since I last played there has been a patch adding gyro controls so that may help alleviate that issue, but the standard controls are only just borderline acceptable for what the game sometimes asks you to do (and the developers seem to be aware of this because the patch notes for 1.5.0 included four separate control changes, and the controls were still poor afterwards). I always figured SR3 to be an easy game but on Switch I was failing missions that involved any kind of aiming precision (thankfully these aren't very common). I also found aiming on Switch to be much more awkward than on other machines.
Take a tank skydiving, call in a satellite-targeted airstrike on a Mexican. Remastered with enhanced graphics, Steelport the original city of sin, has never looked so good as it drowns in sex, drugs and guns.
It's sometimes bad enough that I have turned off the dynamic resolution mode and just let it perform poorly (you are never getting stable performance from the Switch version anyway, so the choice is poor unstable performance with okay graphics or mediocre unstable performance with awful graphics). Saints Row®: The Third - Remastered gives you control of the Saints at the height of their power, and you live the life to show for it. "Hectic" can include just driving a bit fast. Performance got a bit better with the dynamic resolution patch, though when things get a little bit hectic in handheld mode and it starts scaling down, the graphics very quickly get rough.
